Assessing Logistics Services Opportunities through the Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS)/RAPIDX Corridors in Delhi/NCR

NCRTC was created as a joint venture company of the Government of India and the states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh under the administrative control of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs with the mandate of implementing the RRTS in the National Capital Region of Delhi. Initially, eight corridors were identified, out of which three were prioritized: Delhi-Meerut, Delhi-SNB, and Delhi-Panipat. The implementation of the first corridor (Delhi-Meerut) is underway, evolving at a rapid pace. The second corridor – Delhi-SNB – has recently been sanctioned and its implementation will be supported by The World Bank.
