Multi Cargo Traffic Assessment to enhance the capacity of VGCB Berth at Vishakhapatnam Port

Vizag General Cargo Berth Private Limited (VGCB), a 100% subsidiary company of Vedanta Limited, had entered into a concession agreement with Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) for handling of 10.18 million tons of coking coal and steam coal on DFBOT basis for 30 years. VGCB, with this assessment, intends to convert the existing Coal terminal to multi cargo terminal for handling import and exports shipments of Multi Cargo Traffic.
