Market, Financial, and Marketability Assessment for development of Detailed Project Report for Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) at Mumbai Harbour
Setting up a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) in the Mumbai harbor area to meet the growing demand for natural gas in markets along the west coast of India was planned. This included setting up the operation and maintenance of FSRU in Mumbai harbor for a license period of 30 years. SPOGL and BANBV have incorporated a special-purpose vehicle, SP Armada Clean Energy Ventures Pvt Ltd, for this project. The Project SPV has executed the license agreement with Mumbai Port for this development. ASCELA assessed the marketability of the Terminal including estimation of traffic forecast, regasification price, and profitability assessment.
